The video is just a very quick feature demo, the short ones I post here usually have no sound as I’m just using them as a sort of moving image - they’re unlisted on YouTube and only linked here.
I’ll be producing a proper video showing off all the new features soon
At this time, yes - Yamaha synths do not allow the names of waveforms to be queried over MIDI so there's currently no way for KDx to get access to the list of waveforms from User or Library banks.
I haven't tackled arpeggios, because unlike the sound design system, there isn't really an awful lot KDx can do to improve the interface for arps. Same goes for motion sequences.
My next big feature will be effect parameter editing, if I can work out how a good way to do that.

Effects are certainly much more important for rounding out sound programming. What I'm currently missing from the effect parameters is a graphic that shows the structure of each effect and its most important parameters. If this could be integrated into KDx, it would be a truly significant added value.
