Live Set Editor copy between User Banks

FWIW, if you access to E.S.P., you can push a page to E.S.P., change the active page on the synth and then push the page back to the synth.

My main reason for using the KDx Editor was to conveniently manage performance between user banks.
Unfortunately, this isn't working yet, as I'm painfully discovering.
Therefore, it would be great if the request "Live Set Editor copy between User Banks" could be given higher priority.

To be fair, I didn't advertise the Live Set Editor as having that capability - I only said it could manage slots between all the pages of a bank, but I will certainly prioritise that feature.

You're right, you didn't explicitly mention that this bank-wide function was possible. I simply assumed, somewhat naively, that it was. If you've made this extremely important function possible, I'll become your customer, as I'll then really like Edior. Your exemplary response times are also commendable.

I'm considering how best to implement this, and I think what I would do is add [Copy] [Paste] buttons to each page, so you could copy an entire page from the current live set, load a new bank and paste it int, then rearrange as you see fit.

That seems a lot less problematic than allowing an arbitrary selection of slots to be copied and pasted, which would involve unexpected reordering results etc.

That's also very similar to how E.S.P. currently allows the system to work.

Even a simple copy & paste function would be helpful as an ad-hoc solution. The ideal solution, however, would be one with two side-by-side windows, allowing you to easily move slots from one bank to any other via drag & drop. Since this functionality is very fast, it's not even necessary to be able to select multiple slots at once.

You'll manage :)
