A few quick questions

Not really bugs, just trying to understand a few things...

1) I have KDx up and running, so far so good. If I am doing something like adjusting the Amplitude Envelope Attack, I can move the Attack slider in KDx and it moves similarly in both the center display and in the subdisplay to the left. If I turn the knob designated Attack in the subdisplay , it moves appropriately in the center display and in KDx. But, If I turn the Display Knob for Attack in the center display, the subdisplay moves but there is no response in KDx. Is this normal?

2) I have polyphonic aftertouch assigned to Filter Cutoff (both filters) in my 1-Part AN-X preset. Easy enough to access polyAT parameters in the center display using the Navigation Button (Navigation->Controller->Aftertouch), but I can't seem to find them under Filter1/Filter2 or anywhere else in KDx?

3) It might be useful to zoom out to see more of the "sections" of controls in a single view, and maybe control-click to instantly zoom in on that one section. Below are full-screen pictures on my connected monitor. Just a suggestion, thank you.

When you adjust a parameter directly on Montage, MODX or Montage M, the synth does not send any messages over MIDI to inform connected systems that a change has occurred. Consequently, it is impossible for KDx or any other connected system to automatically update in response to these changes.

If you make any edits on the synth, you can force KDx to update its display by either switching to another part, and then back again (or refreshing the page). Each time KDx switches parts, it queries the values for every parameter, so it will instantly pick up the updated values.

With regard to editing aftertouch settings, this is not something that KDx currently offers. In this initial version, the focus is on editing the actual sounds themselves, rather than any of the associated CONTROL ASSIGN settings. Fundamentally, there isn't really anything that KDx could to to improve the control assign interface, so at this point I have left it alone. If there's enough demand, I may revisit that decision for a future version.

PS: congrats on being the first KDx subscriber!

Figuring that the whole switch-part-and-back-or-refresh-the-page thing is a bit naff, I have just implemented a new SYNC button in the MIDI utility button group at the top of the page.

Clicking it will instantly sync KDx with any updated values, including things like you having changed the current part for a completely different one.

Great, the SYNC button would be very helpful. I still think it would be very useful to do something like CTRL-click to instantly zoom in/out on specific sections, as opposed to a general zoom function. Thanks for explaining the absence of MIDI messages from the main screen, it makes sense now (and is really no problem, anyway). The PAT issue was trying to figure out where the "mod matrix" was; I notice it's the same with ESP 3.0 VST.

Thx!

I'm not 100% sure that browsers expose that sort of control, but I will certainly investigate for you :)
